A Lover's Yearning
With but a kiss she melts my heart,
And entrances me body and soul.
For one whisper in my ear, her words
Burn my will like fresh lit coal.
Her breathe a sweet caress upon
My desperately yearning neck.
Her closeness starts my skin to ache
For her soft, pink lips to peck.
Our fingers touch and intertwine
As our hands softly embrace.
And I fall in love anew, as her hair
Flows flatteringly 'round her face.
Those deep brown eyes, so full of warmth,
Hold my gaze with lust and love.
She slips off her gown and lays me down
So she can smile at me from above.
Our passions rise and flare like flames
As our bodies twist and writhe.
And in my heart I already know
That there she's become my wife.
But I wake and find I was in a dream,
And on my finger there is no band.
Yet I can smell the scent of her perfumed skin,
On my palm from holding her hand.
